Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)

Hire a Foreign Worker

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a process in Canada that employers use to demonstrate the need to hire a foreign worker when a Canadian citizen or permanent resident is not available for the job. It's essentially a permission from the government allowing employers to hire international workers. The worker could be located in Canada or overseas!

An LMIA can be essential for a variety of foreign workers to obtain a work permit and support their permanent residence (PR) application in Canada.

If you would like to bring or continue to employe a foreign professional to work for your company in Canada, Master Immigration Services has been representing Canadian employers in a wide variety of sectors during their LMIA applications in last 20 years. After successfully receiving a positive LMIA decision from the government, we can also apply for a LMIA-Based Work Permit for your designated Temporary Foreign Worker.
